So what is short run duplication? Short run duplication is when you want to make some
copies of a CD or DVD using a duplication service and the "short run" bit refers
to when it is for less than around 500 CD or DVD copies. Short run duplication (unlike
long run CD or DVD replication) does not require you to have a glass master produced in
