We programmed these quality collections to make it easy to produce

authentic sounding Tr808 and Tr909 Drum tracks with nothing more than your

sequencer and your Tr808 or TR909 sound set i.e . a Tr808 or Tr909 wav drum sample set, soundfont

or any other 808/909 kit that you have which has its sounds mapped in standard midi file format.

The Tr808 & Tr909 Midi Collections contain a massive 1024 new and original drum patterns in

Techno/Trance/House /Ambient Dance styles and is available now from Mig Music.

All drum patterns can be used within your own songs without payment of royalties.

In order to achieve the 'sound' and 'feel' of these instruments we originally programmed

the drum patterns on the Tr808 & Tr909 virtual drum machines built into the

Rebirth RB338 software synthesizer. The drum patterns were then converted to

Standard Midi File Format for use with any sequencer/music program that imports midi files.

So all the patterns within the Tr808 Midi Dance Collection were especially designed to be

used with a TR808 Drum Kit and the patterns within the Tr909 Midi Dance Collection with a Tr909 Drum Kit.

As the drum patterns are midi files, you can use any drum sounds you like, not just Tr808 and Tr909 Kits.

In particular, other electronic drum kits will sound cool.

In each Midi Dance Collection there are 32 Standard Midi Files. Every midi file contains 16 drum patterns.

The first 8 patterns in each midi file were programmed to be used together in a track i.e. they are related

drum patterns which include variations & fills. The remaining 8 patterns within each midi file

are also programmed to be used together, including variations & fills. You can use the files

to produce Tr808 & Tr909 drum tracks quickly & easily. Naturally, you are free to

cut & paste Mig Music patterns directly into your own songs, edit them or change the tempo.

Use the patterns as they are or use them as starting points for further drum programming.
