EASY ACCESS TO SOUNDS

The Collection is arranged as 38 soundbanks, each containing 8 new sounds.

Each sound bank has been saved as a r1p file. You simply load any one of

these r1p "sound bank" files from a floppy disk into any empty user style on your RM1x

You then have access to 8 New Dance Sounds on RM1x tracks 9 through to 16

Also you may find that loading sounds directly from disk is more convenient than having to copy a preset style into a user style or

selecting synth sounds individually before you start working on your tune.

LOGICAL ARRANGEMENT OF SOUNDBANKS

RM1x Tracks 1 to 8 are kept free for your drum selections.

RM1x Tracks 9 to 16 is where the New Dance Sounds are stored

These r1p files contain no musical data (only recorded blank measures)

Each r1p sound bank has its own individual effect settings.

FIND THE SOUNDS YOU WANT WITHOUT HAVING TO REMEMBER WHERE THEY ARE

To help you use these sounds with your RM1x, we have given each new sound a descriptive name and

produced a COMPLETE SOUND NAME LIST which lists all 304 sounds held within the RM1X Dance Sound Collection.

This handy list will make it easy for you to find your favorite sounds

START RECORDING MORE QUICKLY AND ORGANISE YOUR SECTIONS

To make it easier to use the RM1x when recording, we have set up the most commonly used

bar lengths (as recorded blank measures) across all 16 sections within each soundbank:

SECTIONS A B C D - 4 Bars per section

SECTIONS E F G H - 8 Bars per section

SECTIONS I J K L - 16 Bars per section

SECTIONS M N - 2 Bars per section

SECTIONS O P - 1 Bar per section

This makes it quicker to record a new section i.e. you load the sound bank and

the bar lengths have already been set to useful bar lengths. So if you want to record 4 bars of

music you just select Section A B C or D, if you want to record 8 bars of music you select section E F G or H etc..

Using this simple way of organising your sections will mean you'll know where your 4 bar, 8 bar,16 bar, 2 bar & 1 bar sections

are stored - making it easier to remix. You can of course change any of these bar lengths if you want to.
